



Pelješac peninsula is located about 50 km west of the city of Dubrovnik. Peninsula looks more like an island because it is with only a small part linked to the mainland. It is 65 km long, while its widest part only 7 km. Pelješac Peninsula is the largest peninsula in Dalmatia, and the second largest on the Croatian Adriatic, just behind the Istrian Peninsula.
The closest airport to the peninsula Peljesac is Dubrovnik airport. If you are coming from the direction of Split, Pelješac can be reached by ferry from Ploče to Trpanj (place on the peninsula). Dalmatia ferry, timetables and prices can be found on Jadrolinija. Name of the ferry that runs from Ploče to Trpanj is Pelješanka. Pelješac peninsula is also connected with the Korcula island. Passenger boat from Orebic on the Peljesac peninsula runs every hour to Korcula island, and the ride takes 15 about minutes.
